Aquarium maintenance is the regular tasks and upkeep done to ensure a healthy and thriving aquatic environment. It's crucial because it helps maintain water quality, supports the well-being of your fish and plants, and prevents common issues like algae overgrowth and disease as well as keeping the tank looking beautiful.

We recommend a maintenance schedule based on your aquarium’s type, size and livestock. Visits every two weeks are preferred, and some aquariums may need weekly care. We’ll discuss the right frequency for your aquarium.

While it's not necessary to be present, it can be beneficial to discuss any specific concerns or preferences with our maintenance team. We can also provide maintenance when you're away, ensuring your tank stays healthy.

Our service packages include basic water quality testing, cleaning of tank walls and decor, gravel vacuuming, filter maintenance, water changes, and an overall health check for fish and plants.

You can perform tasks like regular feeding, keeping water topped off and running a magnet cleaner across the front glass daily to keep the viewing area clear. Follow our care guide or ask your aquarium maintenance technician for tips on maintaining water quality and general upkeep.
